The World Health Organization (WHO) lists ventilators as CORE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT for low-resource settings to save lives in many situations. However, common devices are often expensive, break easly in harsh environments, and are difficult to use.
Simulation training strengthens confidence
Practical experience and guided simulation training are key to developing essential skills and confidence in clinical practice. However, training is often not available in LMICs due to high costs and limited access to high-fidelity training.
